TRESTLEBOARD

March 2005

From The East

BRETHREN:

The weather is finally warming up, but who knows for how long.

The Valentines dinner at the Liberty Bell was attended by 12 people, who enjoyed an excellent meal.

The Grand Master’s Official Visitation is scheduled for the April 11 th meeting. We need to make sure we know our lines and practice. There isn’t much time left.

I would like to say thank you to Brother Ray Cadotte for his "Are you a Master Mason", which you can read on the Lodge web page. I’m requesting everyone with e-mail Subscribe to the Lodge mail list. The instructions are on the web page. This way we can send important and timely notices to everyone as an update to the written Trestle Board. If you are having problems subscribing, contact me.

Fraternally and on the Square,

JD Weiss
Worshipful Master

From the West

Brethren:

The snow is melting and the weather is turning once again to spring. Basically a new beginning. The flowers come forth and the trees sprout covers of green to cover the bare branches which we have come to accept the past few months. We too, as individuals should also take this opportunity to cover those bare branches with new leaves. Change does not hurt, it is just different. Wear a new jacket or a different colored tie. It is amazing what others see in us as being creatures of habit. When we change colors we may also change attitudes. We may find a spring in our step we never thought possible and a smile on our faces which will make others wonder what we are up to. We need also to consider our obligations. One of which is the support of the Lodge. It would be nice to see Brothers whom we have not seen for many months and in some cases years. Put on a new jacket, a new tie, or just make an effort to attend Lodge.

    Hope to see you there.

Fraternally and by the Leval,

Rick Davis PM
Senior Warden

From the Secretary's Desk

Brethren:

As some of you are aware, you need to pay your dues! There is still over half of our members who have not paid said dues. Remember our Lodge has commitments that require money and it would be nice to have all our members paid befor the end of March.

As you know I've been down with the hip, but Lord willing I hope to see as many of you as possible at the next meeting.

By the Quill and Heart,

Charlie N. Mowery PM
Secretary
