TRESTLEBOARD

December 2005

From The East

Brethren:

I would like to thank everyone for their support during my year as Master. WB Peter Worburton PM, deservers a round of applause and a hearty Thank You, for setting up and breaking down the Lodge room for each meeting.

Congratulations to the newly elected Officers. May their year be a GREAT one! Please come to Lodge and support their efforts in the coming year. Installation will be Sunday, 18 December at 1: PM in the Lodge.

I would also like to thank all the Past Masters, for without their assistance; our Lodge would not and could survive.

Again I ask everyone to Subscribe to the Lodge e-mail notification list, which will be used to supplement the written Trestle Board with important information and meeting reminders. So far, we only have 13 subscribers and I know there are many more Golden Lodge #50 Brothers with e-mail. If you are having problems subscribing, contact me via e-mail.

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year to all!

Fraternally and on the Square,

JD Weiss
Worshipful Master

From the West

Brethren:

It is almost the end of another year and with having just gotten out of the hospital I have more then most to be thankful for.I will be looking forward to Christmas with great anticipation because, even though I look forward to it every year, this year it may have a bit more meaning.

I would like to remind you that our December meeting is important, not that it is any more so then any other, but we will be voting on those who will serve this Lodge in th eupcoming year. As I said in the Lodge at the last meeting, I feel I am not worthy to be nominated to the position of Master of the Lodge, based on the many Master Masons who have held the position bedor. I will however, strive to do what all Mastes are supposed to do, make the meetings interesting and work for the continued growth in our Craft. I only wish we still had the physical support of those who are no longer able to attend.

I hope to see each of our members there for the installation on December 18th at 1:00 PM. This is a sunday afternoon, formal attire and your significant others are invited to attend. Dinner, being prepared by Brother Herb Chandler, will follow the cermony.

    Here's to a great year.

Fraternally Yours By the Leval,

Rick Davis PM
Senior Warden

From the Secretary's Desk

Brethren:

Once again th eyera is coming to th eend and time to elect our Officers. Also, it's time to support your Lodge. Both with your presents at the Lodge and your financial support by paying your Dues. If you have receive your notice please respond and if you have not received your notice, check your Dues card and catch up.

enough of that, let me say it has been my pleasure to serve as your Secretary for tha last five years and should it be your pleasure , to serve as long as you wish, barring any problems with my health. As long as we have Masons who care and our diginity, our Lodge will be around.

May our new Officers enjoy their year, as I always do and our Lodge prosper.

By the Quill and Heart,

Charlie N. Mowery PM
