TRESTLEBOARD

December 2004

From The East

BRETHREN:

It has been a year of sadness and good. But the bad has passed and with Gods help we will go on.

As you know there will be a change coming in December. It will be great for all Past Masters of our Lodge to be present for the next stated meeting for the Past Masters Degree of the new Worshipful Master of Our Lodge.

It has been my honor to serve in the East as your Worshipful Master in 2004 and I'm looking forward in continuing working in the Lodge.

Fraternally and on the Square,

Tim Fitzpatrick
Worshipful Master

From the West

Brethren:

The time has come for us to once again decide the future of our Lodge. I would like to invite everyone of you to attend Lodge on 13 December for a VERY important meeting, ELECTION of OFFICERS.

The installation will be on 19 Dec at 1300 (1:00pm) with dinner following. Please let me know if you plan to attend, so I know how much food to prepare.

I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving.

Fraternally and by the Level,

JD Weiss
Senior Warden

From the South

Word from the South:

The year is winding down & a new year is about to begin. I have enjoyed the past year preparing the light repast & company of the Brethren who have come early to enjoy it. I wish the number of persons in our Lodge were larger, if only so I did not have so many left overs. However, what we have lacked in quanity, we have more than made up in quality. I know it is not easy to prepare, nore is it easy to judge what needs to be prepared, but we should continue on. I think the time we spend together prior to the meeting is important for the Lodge & the members who attend. I know there are many visitors who have been a bit surprised by it & have enjoyed it enough to to return. We thank them also. They are always welcome.

I will be turning over the rains to another next year but would like to express my appreciation to those of you who support the Lodge. I am but a small nut in the wheel, as many of you are. However, without all us nuts, the wheel might fall apart.

Thank you. May the Good Lord watch over each of you, your families & friends during the Holiday season. May you never loose sight of the reason we celebrate at this time of the year & Bless those who are unfortunate enough to not have the same freedome we take for granted.

Fraternally,

Rick Davis
Junior Warden

From the Secretary's Desk

Brethren:

As we all know, the year is comming to an end, our elections are this month and our new Master will be installed. All of you who have sat in the East know the feeling that you have made it to the point in your life where all Master Masaons are proud to tell their friends and other Masons of their journey to the East. It's also a good feeling to see a Lodge with not just Officers in place, but bodies on the side lines. Remember the feeling and make it possible for our new Master to have the same feeling. As your secretary, it would make me proud to see a full Lodge to read the minuets too.

Your dues are due at the end of this month, Please check your cards. Notices will be sent out next month, try to avaid the rush, send early.

By the Quill and Heart,

Charlie N. Mowery PM
Secretary
